“The Core” features inside looks at the people, plans and passion that will make Core 450 a unique dining experience and neighborhood gathering place. Stay up-to-date on our grand opening and other happenings with our Core 450 newsletter.
When it comes to Core 450, membership will certainly have its privileges. Owner Matt Jennings has just unveiled the “Core 450 Chef’s Club” for 2021.
The Chef’s Club is designed for those who want to not only broaden their culinary horizons with cooking classes and curated content, but also enjoy easy access to reservations through an online booking system.
Soon to be available for purchase at the website, or by calling The Shop at 864-689-3585, there will be two membership categories: Platinum and Gold.
The Platinum Level includes invitation to our “Chef Series” of cooking and prep classes, 14-day advance reservations for the restaurant and Chef’s Corner, exclusive curated content delivered via e-newsletter, special offers through “Core 450 Perks,” merch and to top it all off, a membership card.
The Gold Level offers curated content, Core 450 Perks and a membership card. The annual Platinum fee is $250 and $150 for Cherokee Valley members. The annual Gold fee is $100 and $50 for members.
There will be additional fees associated with classes and special events, but Jennings says the idea to deliver value well above and beyond membership fees and entry prices.
“I believe there’s a market for a restaurant membership that builds camaraderie, provides convenience and enhances members’ culinary chops and overall education level when it comes to all things food,” Jennings says.
“Anything from a farm day in the chef’s garden and staging for a formal dinner party to guest speakers and couples cooking classes,” Jennings says. “There will be fun, one-of-a-kind offerings that everyone will want to be a part of.”
He also envisions partnering with local craft breweries, wineries and farms to offer pairing dinners, either at Core 450 or in the Event Center.
“We are going to have a lot of fun and learn a thing or two along the way,” Jennings says.
“Cheers” to that.
