Ground Breaking – Core 450

Join us Friday, September 14th at for the ground-breaking of Core 450, the Upstate’s newest, innovative “open-kitchen” restaurant at Cherokee Valley Course and Club.

Core 450 will be an authentic “gather here,” kind of place where patrons can unplug, unwind and relax with friends and family in a casual open dining environment .   Core 450 will feature an engaging open-kitchen environment. Executive Chef Todd Warden wants Core 450 to, “bring the kitchen to the guests.” Core 450 will bring a sense of shared community where everyone gathers in the kitchen like they are at a friend’s party, sharing great food, drink and conversation in a relaxed setting.

Owner Matt Jennings says, “We are going to provide a gathering place like no other for a diverse audience loaded with ambience and engagement.  Core 450 is an intentionally different kind of experience from the current options available in the Greenville area. We are offering one of the few open-kitchen environments in the Upstate.  Guests can sit at the bar, or kitchen and watch their meal being prepared while engaging the chef.  Families can take advantage of a variety of seating arrangements where their kids are safe and welcome.”

Executive Chef Todd Warden studied under James Beard award-winning chef, Bob Kinkead. He has cooked for Julia Childs, Thomas Keller, Hollywood Stars and former Presidents. He believes that food is a celebration and there will be plenty to celebrate at Core 450.
